How do I print if I get an "Envision" error when I swipe my One Card?

This entry is for if you swipe your Golden Eagle One Card/Student ID card on the printers and receive the following error:

An internal server error occurred. Could not find server 'ENVISION' in sys.servers. Verify that the correct server name was specified. If necessary, execute the stored procedure sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to sys.srvers.

This error happens the day your One Card is printed and will resolve by 6am the following business day. If you are still experiencing the error after 24 hours of your card being issued, follow-up with the One Card office:

  • Call the Golden Eagle One Card office (323-343-6800) and give them your Name, CIN, and student email. State that you are experiencing the ENVISION error.
