Can I request a textbook or course reading using CSU+ or Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

No. You cannot request textbooks and course readings using CSU+ or Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
We try to keep required textbooks here at Cal State LA for you to borrow, and other university libraries similarly try to keep their textbooks at their institutions for their students to access. Even in circumstances where CSU+/ILL could borrow one or two copies of a book, we would be unable to provide access to the textbook fairly for the entire class.
Additionally, you cannot request all book chapters individually, as this would violate copyright guidelines.
If a required textbook is not on reserve in the Library, please ask your instructor to place a copy on reserve using the Course Reserve form.
