Do I need an appointment to visit Special Collections and Archives?
Answer
No, walk-ins are welcome. However, it is highly recommended that you make an appointment to ensure the availability of the materials requested. During walk-ins, you may run the risk that the materials are not available due to minimal personnel for pulling the material at the time of your walk-in.
Making an appointment will ensure the materials are available during your requested day and time. Walk-ins and appointments are available Monday - Friday, from 10 am to 5 pm.
You can request an appointment using the Research Appointment Application.
If you are in the beginning stages of your research and have not identified a collection, in-depth research consultations are available with a Special Collections librarian. Please see our Research Consultant Form.
