Yes, the 3rd floor of the Library South building has been designated as the silent study area.

You can find this area labeled on the Library Floor Maps.

If you want a space to work quietly, try visiting the B Level of Library North, the 3rd Floor of Library North, or the bridges on the 2nd and 3rd Floors. Learn more about the different study areas and zones on our website.

If you experience an issue with noise in the area, please let the service desk know on the first floor of Library North by visiting in-person or calling 323-343-3988.
